Aşma (lit. transcendence) is the first published book, and monograph by Azerbaijani philosopher Agalar Qut. The book is written and published in the Azerbaijani language, in two editions, the latest of which is published in 2014 containing 372 pages, by Qanun Publishing company. The book's content is mainly about criticism of the social and religious values of, and suggesting reforms in the Azerbaijani society. The author of the book allegedly faced threats and opposition from radical Islamic organizations as well as from the local people for his criticism of the religion and the society in the book.
