Bald Move is a podcasting company, founded by Peter Street, Jim Jones and A. Ron Hubbard but is currently hosted by Jim Jones and A. Ron Hubbard.[1] It features weekly podcasts covering popular television shows, including Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad. In July 2017, Game of Thrones The Podcast, their podcast on the HBO series, was the number one podcast on American iTunes.[2]
History
Bald Move was founded by longtime friends Peter Street, A. Ron Hubbard and Jim Jones. Hubbard's wife, Cecily Hubbard, is a regular co-host. All 3 founding members Hubbard, Street and Jones are former Jehovah's Witnesses.[3] Peter was forced from the business after a disagreement with A. Ron regarding the direction of the company. Jones, who had started podcasting with Peter years before A. Ron joined the group, sided with A. Ron after Peter began showing up late for recording sessions. What started as a fun hobby with three friends became a more serious business effort, at the cost of decades long friendships.
