The Center of Traditional Taoist Studies was founded by Grandmaster Alex Anatole in 1979. It is located in the Boston area. It is a non-profit 501C.3 organization. The center is dedicated to the study, practice, and propagation of the authentic Taoist philosophy and practices. The center is home to the Temple of Original Simplicity. The Center of Traditional Taoist Studies also offers Lin Hun Therapy and Taoist Divine Guidance, which were officially recognized by the US Patent and Trademark Office in 2019. Temple of Original Simplicity

The temple houses a wide collection of Taoist Deities, as well as, perhaps, the only Hall of Fox Immortals (Chinese: Huxian, Japanese:kitsune, Korean: kumiho) in the United States.

The temple offers traditional Taoist teachings including the philosophical teachings of the Tao Te Ching, meditation, Qi Gong, as well as the esoteric disciplines of The Fox Creed.
