Curtis F. Waters (born January 14, 1956) is an American real estate investor, broker, and educator with over 45 years of experience, 10 years in real estate investment. He is the co-chair and co-owner of several real estate investment companies in Charlotte, North Carolina, alongside his business partner, Bonnie Laslo. Waters also serves as the Broker-in-Charge of Real Estate Realty LLC.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Early life and education
Waters was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to Vernon Waters and Margaret Waters (née McLeod). He is the youngest of three siblings, with an older sister, Donna Burke, and an older brother, Roger Waters. Both of his parents were entrepreneurs in Jacksonville.[2][3][8][9]
Waters pursued higher education at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA).[2][3][8][9][7]
Career
Waters has accumulated over 10 years of experience in real estate investment and more than nine years of experience as a licensed real estate broker. As the Broker-in-Charge of Real Estate Realty LLC, he oversees brokerage operations while co-managing a portfolio of real estate investments, including apartments and single-family homes, in the Charlotte metro area. Waters and his business partner, Bonnie Laslo, work together to manage these assets through multiple real estate investment companies.[2][3][5][6][7]
In addition to his real estate endeavors, Waters is an educator and a recognized authority on real estate investing.
