Games, one of the early major online gaming portals, which became a notable part of Yahoo’s consumer offerings. Wolf also acted as a seed investor in the messaging platform WhatsApp before its acquisition by Facebook.
FUTO
In 2021, Wolf founded FUTO (often styled as FUTO.tech), a technology organization focused on building and funding software that emphasizes user sovereignty, open-source principles, and alternatives to the dominant centralized platforms in the tech industry. The initiative seeks to rebuild elements of the software ecosystem in ways that return control of computing and digital services to users rather than large corporations.
As CEO of FUTO, Wolf has articulated a philosophy that the current technology landscape is overly centralized and that both market competition and parts of the free software movement have been insufficient in counteracting this trend. FUTO undertakes a mix of in-house engineering projects, investments, public education, and grant programs to support its mission.

Wolf frequently speaks and writes about technology sovereignty, the evolution of computing, and the impact of centralized technology platforms on user autonomy.
