Biography:Lincoln Carr
Lincoln D. Carr is an American Professor of physics at Colorado School of Mines and Alexander von Humboldt Fellow.[1]
Early life
Lincoln Carr had graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree in physics from University of California, Berkeley in 1994. Two years later he began both Master's and Ph.D. programs at University of Washington from which he graduated with a Ph.D. in March of 2001. From 2001 to 2004 he was Distinguished International Fellow of the National Science Foundation and from 2003 to 2005 was a Professional Research Associate at Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics. As of 2005 he works as a Professor of physics at the Colorado School of Mines.[2]
Personal life
Other than physics, Carr's hobbies include mountaineering, philosophy, poetry, yoga and travel around the world. His interests include theatre acting and dishwashing.[2]
