Mukta Farooq from the IBM Corporation, Hopewell Junction, NY was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2016[1] for contributions to 3D integration and interconnect technology. She currently works at GlobalFoundries and has over 200 issued patents.[2]
