Oleg Vasylovych Yaroshchuk (Ukrainian: Олег Васильович Ярощук; born 20 August 1962) is a Ukrainian physicist and senior research fellow at the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU).[1][2][3]

Career

Yaroshchuk is a senior research fellow in the Department of Crystal Physics at the Institute of Physics in Kyiv.[1][4]

In 2012–2013 he was a Fulbright scholar at Kent State University, working on liquid-crystal photoalignment topics.[5]

Honors and awards

  • Fulbright scholar at Kent State University, working on liquid-crystal photoalignment topics.
  • Co-recipient of the A. F. Prikhot’ko Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2012) for a cycle of works on the physical foundations and applied aspects of photoalignment of liquid crystals.[6][7]
  • Co-author of a paper that received the journal Crystals 2017 Best Paper Award.[8]
