Early Life and Career
Scott Buckley began his music career in the early 2000s as a salaried composer for an LA-based music library, where he composed music for film and game advertising, particularly trailers. However, after experiencing burnout in this role, he shifted career paths and retrained as a scientist. He went on to earn a PhD in Agricultural Sciences and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Umeå, Sweden.
