Aeshna minuscula is a dragonfly from the family Aeshnidae. It is also known as friendly hawker.[1] This species is widespread and common in South Africa . It also occurs in Botswana and Namibia. This dragonfly prefers small mountain streams with pools. The species seems to profit from human activity.
