Coccopigya spinigera is a species of sea snail, deep-sea limpet, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cocculinidae.[3]
Distribution
- Range: 39.7°N to 28°N; 83°W to 0°W.[3]
- Eastern Atlantic: Iceland[3]
- North West Atlantic[3]
- USA: Virginia, North Carolina, Florida; Florida: West Florida[3]
Description
The maximum recorded shell length is 3.2 mm.[4]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 613 m.[4] Maximum recorded depth is 1550 m.[4]
