Coremiocnemis valida (also known as Coremiocnemis validus)[2]: 56 , commonly known as the Singapore tarantula, is a species of tarantula found in tropical forests in Southeast Asia.[3]: 208 It is known to create burrows underground.[2]: 59–60
Covalitoxin-II was originally isolated from C. valida.[3]: 218
