Fonchiiloricaria nanodon is a species of armored catfish endemic to Peru where it is found from the Río Huallaga. This species is the only recognized member of its genus. This species grows to a length of 17.5 centimetres (6.9 in) TL.
The generic name Fonchiiloricaria honours Fonchii Chang, and the specific name νᾶνος "nā́nos", meaning dwarf or reduced and ὀδούς "odoús", meaning tooth.[1]
