Anatomical terms of neuroanatomy

The frontal gyrus is the gyrus of the frontal lobe in the brain. It is described as having four regions that are also termed gyri. Looking at the frontal gyrus from the Sylvian fissure upward, these regions are the inferior frontal gyrus, the middle frontal gyrus, the superior frontal gyrus, and then within the hemispheric fissure, the medial frontal gyrus. The inferior frontal gyrus includes Broca's area.[1]
