Gymnopilus terrestris is a species of agaric fungus in the family Hymenogastraceae.
Description
The cap is 3 to 7 centimetres (1.2 to 2.8 in) in diameter.[1] The species is inedible.[2]
Distribution and habitat
Gymnopilus terrestris grows on soil and humus, under conifers. It has been found in the US states of Michigan, Colorado, Idaho, Washington (state) , and Oregon, fruiting from June to October.[1]
