Halieutopsis tumifrons, also known as the truncate-snout deepsea batfish, is a species of fish in the family Ogcocephalidae.[1]

It is found in the Eastern Pacific Ocean near the Cocos Islands[1] and in the Galapagos Islands.

This species reaches a length of 6.9 cm (2.7 in).[2]
