Isectolophidae is an extinct family of browsing, herbivorous, mammals in the order Perissodactyla.[1] It forms a sister group to the rest of Tapiromorpha, which includes Ancylopoda (lophiodontids and Chalicotherioidea) and Ceratomorpha (tapirs, rhinoceroses and their extinct relatives).[2]
