Limnophila is a genus of limoniid crane flies in the family Limoniidae. There are at least 280 described species in Limnophila.[1][2][3][4][5]
Members of the family Limoniidae were previously in a subfamily of Tipulidae which was promoted to family rank.[4][5][2][3][6]
