Microbacterium radiodurans is a Gram-positive, heterotrophic and strictly aerobic bacterium from the genus of Microbacterium which has been isolated from the Gobi desert in China .[1][2][3][4] Microbacterium radiodurans is resistant against UV radiation.[4][5]
