Biology:Nassoi
From HandWiki
Nassoi (Greek: Νάσσοι, also Νάσοι - Nasoi, Latin: Nasi) was a place in Arcadian Azania in Arcadia, Greece. The modern village Nasia took its name from Nassoi.[citation needed] Nassoi was the place where the waters from the Orchomenus plain resurfaced as the river Tragus. The village at this resurgence was called Rheunus.[1] It was situated at 7 stades (1.1 km) from the city Caphyae and 50 stades (8 km) from the river Ladon.[2]
