Nostolepis is an extinct genus of acanthodian fish which lived from the Silurian (Wenlock) to the Middle Devonian (Givetian). Members of the genus include Nostolepis gracilis and Nostolepis striata.[1][2] Nostolepis might have preyed on trilobites, such as Deiphon
