Oreostemma is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.[2] Species are found in western North America, with two endemic to California .[3][4][5][6][7][8]
- Oreostemma alpigenum (Tundra aster) — California , Nevada, Oregon, Washington (state) , Idaho, Montana, Wyoming
- Oreostemma elatum (Plumas alpine aster) — Sierra Nevada, California [10][11]
- Oreostemma peirsonii (Peirson's aster) — endemic to California , in the southern Sierra Nevada.[12]
