Orocrambus catacaustus is a moth in the family Crambidae.[1] It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1885.[2][3] This species is endemic to New Zealand.[4] It has been recorded from the South Island.[5] The habitat consists of bogs.[5]

The wingspan is 21–27 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from December to March.[5]
