Pentaria brevicornis (pronunciation: Pen-tah-rhee-a breh-vee-korn-iss) is a species of ant-like beetles of the family Scraptiidae that lives in Cape Verde.[1] The species was described by Thomas Vernon Wollaston in 1867.[1] Its scientific name means "short horn". Its English name may be short horned antlike beetle or Cape Verdean short horned antlike beetle.
