Plagioporus skrjabini is a species of a trematode in the family Opecoelidae.[1]
Hosts
Hosts of Plagioporus skrjabini include:
- Snail Theodoxus fluviatilis serves as the first intermediate host[1]
- Sand hoppers are natural additional hosts: Pontogammarus robustoides, Pontogammarus crassus, Dikerogammarus villosus, Dikerogammarus haemobaphes, Chaetogammarus ischnus and Amathillina cristata.[1]
- Definitive hosts are Cobitis taenia,[2] and gobies: toad goby (Mesogobius batrachocephalus),[2] bighead goby (Ponticola kessleri)[1] and monkey goby (Neogobius fluviatilis).[1][2]
