Biology:Priscileo
From HandWiki
Priscileo is a genus of Thylacoleonidae, the marsupial lions. The type species, Priscileo pitikantensis, was reassigned to the genus Wakaleo.
The genus Priscileo was reassessed in a study that described a new species of Wakaleo, which identified morphological similarities and published a treatment of this genus as a junior synonym and establishing a monophyletic clade.[1]
The species Priscileo roskellyae[2] remained recognised in a 2017 revision that assigned the type species to Wakaleo, but noted the small amount of evidence may also be assignable to the revised circumscription of Wakaleo.[1]
