The Red headed Cockchafer (Adoryphorus coulonii) is an Australian scarab beetle in the genus Adoryphorus. The species is regarded as a pasture pest in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania.

Description

The adult beetle is approximately 13–15mm long and about 8mm wide.[1] It is typically brown-black in colour.[1]

The larva is white-grey in early stages of growth and becomes white when mature.[1] The older larva have yellowish legs and a hard red-brown head.[1]
