Silene sieboldii is a species of flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae.[1] The species goes by the common name Chinese lychnis or jian chun luo.[2]
The species is native to China and Korea. The species was introduced to Japan and Mongolia.[3]
The species was first described and the named by Louis van Houtte. It was later revised and reclassified by Hiroyoshi Ohashi and Hideki Nakai in 1996.[4]
