Thelesperma simplicifolium, commonly known as the slender greenthread,[1] is a species of greenthread found from Texas and Mexico.[2] It is typically found in openings in oak or juniper woodlands or on desert scrub.[3]

Description

Thelesperma simplicifolium is a perennial herb. It typically grows 30 to 70 cm (12 to 28 in) tall. The cauline leaves are "scattered over proximal 3/4+ of plant heights".[3] There are usually 8 ray florets per flower head. The ray laminae are yellow.[1][3]
