Thermesia is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae erected by Jacob Hübner in 1825. The Global Lepidoptera Names Index has this name as a synonym of Hemeroblemma.[1]
Description
Palpi obliquely upturned, where the second joint reaching vertex of head. A sharp frontal tuft present. Thorax and abdomen smoothly scaled. Tibia spineless and moderately hairy. Forewings with highly arched costa before apex, which is acute. Larva with four pairs of abdominal prolegs.[2]
