Alkoxyamines are organic compounds with the general structure of $\mathrm{R}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{1}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}1}\mathrm{R}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{}}^{\phantom{2}}{\phantom{A}}_{\phantom{2}}^{\phantom{2}2}\mathrm{N}-\mathrm{O}\mathrm{R}{\phantom{A}}^3$ where $\mathrm{R}{\phantom{A}}^1$ and $\mathrm{R}{\phantom{A}}^2$ are organic substituents (organic groups) attached to nitrogen and $\mathrm{R}{\phantom{A}}^3$ is an alkyl group attached to oxygen.
