Cyclopentylamine is an organic compound with the formula C

. It is a colorless, readily distillable liquid. Cyclopentylamine is a member of the aminocycloalkanes, which also includes cyclopropylamine, cyclobutylamine, and cyclohexylamine.

Cyclopentylamine can be prepared by reductive amination starting with cyclopentanone or cyclopentanol.[1]
