History
The company was founded in 2010 by serial entrepreneur, Don Schoen, who previously founded and sold MediNotes Corporation.[1]
Originally called BuyerCompass, the company shifted its focus from grocery shopping and electronic coupons to wellness and nutrition in early 2012.[2]
In December 2012 Aetna announced that BettrLife would be featured as one of its nutrition partners on the CarePass platform.[3]
