BugHerd is a software company and the developer of a website feedback and bug tracking software. It was founded in 2010 in Melbourne, Australia, by Alan Downie and Matt Milosavljevic. The tool lets users leave comments directly on a live website. These comments are saved as tasks with technical details such as browser and screen information. BugHerd is used by web developers, designers, project managers, and digital agencies to collect feedback and find problems on websites.[1][2][3][4][5]

History

BugHerd lets users report website problems by clicking on parts of a webpage and adding feedback.[6][7]

In 2011, the company joined the Startmate accelerator and later participated in the 500 Startups program.[8][9][10][11]

In 2012, BugHerd raised $500,000,[12] and in 2014, it raised $1 million.[13][14][15]

In 2018, after a company restructuring,[16] Stephen Neville became CEO.[17][18][19][20][21]
