DAB Motors. is a French manufacturer of electric motorcycles. It was founded in 2017 by Simon Dabadie, in Bayonne, France.

History

Foundation:

DABs early focus was on customizing one off petrol-powered motorcycles[1][2][3] with brands like Roland Sands Designs, Yamaha, Skully Systems, Deus Ex Machina.

DAB Motors launched a website where customers could customize their own DAB Motorcycle which would then be built and delivered[4].

DAB Motors Concept-E (2021):

In 2021, DAB Motors came with the introduction of the DAB Motors Concept-E[5][6]. The Concept-E won the 2022 Red Dot Design Award[7][8]. The DAB Motors Concept-E was equipped with a 10kW motor and 51.8V Li-ion battery, equivalent to a 125cc.The concept was fitted with Beringer braking system, and Öhlins custom suspension system.

Peugeot Motorcycles Partnership:

In 2023 DAB Motors and Peugeot Motorcycles formed a strategic partnership.[9][10] This partnership marked a noteworthy collaboration with Peugeot Motorcycles'[11] extensive experience in the motorcycle industry.[12][13]

Collaborations

In 2022, DAB Motors collaborated with Burberry[14] to create a limited run of customized Concept-E's[15][16][17]
