Fanvue is a British content paid subscription service that allows creators to upload and sell exclusive content to their subscribers.[1] Founded in 2020 by Will Monange and Joel Morris and based in London, England,[2] Fanvue has an emphasis on artificial intelligence-generated creators and models.[3][4] It organizes Miss AI, an AI beauty pageant.[5]
History
Fanvue, founded by William Monange and YouTuber Joel Morris who serve as co-CEOs,[6] originally launched in 2020. It raised a $1 million round of funding in 2021.[7]
Fanvue gained traction as an alternative to platforms like OnlyFans, particularly with AI-generated content.[8] AI creators accounted for 15% of Fanvue’s total revenues one month.[9] Its most popular creators include Aitana López, with about 350,000 followers on Instagram.[10] Many have used the platform to launch "AI influencers" as side hustles.[11][12]
In 2024, Fanvue launched the Miss AI beauty pagent with a $20,000 prize pool, along with a series of Fanvue World AI Creator Awards.[13][14]
