FarEast Amusement Research (F.E.A.R. for short) is a Japanese company founded in 1993 by the current president Tarou Suzufuki, which produces role-playing games, board games and light novels. F.E.A.R. has a subsidiary publishing company named Game Field. Game Field publishes bimonthly RPG magazine Gamers Field since 1996. An anime television series adaptation of F.E.A.R.'s Night Wizard! began airing in Japan in October 2007. F.E.A.R.'s products are published by several publishers including Game Field, Enterbrain, Fujimi Shobo and Shinkigensha.
