Find it EZ Software is a publisher of change impact analysis tools designed for software developers[1]. The company's products allow you to plan, document, search, backup and implement software code changes and new software releases, enabling software developers to visualize and manage their software changes across a variety of programming languages, reporting tools, business intelligence platforms and SQL databases. The company was founded in 2010[2] with its headquarters in Kelowna, BC, Canada. It serves small, medium and large (fortune 500) customers from USA, Western Europe, Canada , Australia and New Zealand with Change impact analysis software to improve their source code change management processes.[3]

History

Find it EZ's technology was established in late 2000 to run in-depth change impact analysis on large libraries of Crystal Reports files. Find it EZ Software Corp partnered with the Laboratory for Software Modification Research (LSMR)[4] at the University of Calgary in Alberta to conduct advanced research into Find it EZ's suite of software.[5] In 2013, the company announced a strategic partnership with Crystal Migration Services Corp., a global leader in Crystal Reports to SSRS migration.[6] The company was a finalist in the BCIC New Venture competition for 2 consecutive years in 2011 and 2012 and is a member of the BCIC Mentorship program in British Columbia Canada.[7][8]

Products

Code Search Pro is a static code change impact analysis tool that is used to find all references throughout an entire application stack whenever a change is planned or software bug is discovered.[9][10] The software is available in two editions i.e. Desktop and Server edition. The Server edition is made for installation on any Windows Server that run .NET 4.7.2 or newer. Desktop Edition can only be installed on Windows desktop operating system.

Code Search Community Edition[11][12] is available for free installs on Windows Desktop only. But it is restricted to searching through all office documents, programming language code files such as Java, C, C#, C++, PHP, Visual Basic, Python, Perl, JavaScript, Delphi, Ruby, PL/SQL, Ada, COBOL, all .net languages plus open source databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ODBC.

Dev Surge 365 is a software application that runs on Windows and is certified Microsoft Platform Ready for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, Windows Server 2008.R2, 2012, 2012.R2 and 2016 (all editions), SQL Server 2000 through 2017 (all editions) and SQL Azure.[13][14] It is also available in the choice of Virtual Machine host or a dedicated preconfigured Network Appliance for ultimate scalability and tuned performance.

Awards and recognition

Microsoft honored Find it EZ Code Search as one of the most innovative new software products in the world.[15]
