GCP Applied Technologies is an American public corporation with its headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. It sells chemicals and materials used in construction as well as sealants and coatings used in packaging.
History
GCP Applied Technologies was established as a subsidiary of W.R. Grace & Co. in Columbia, Maryland in 2015.[2] Its parent company spun off GCP Applied Technologies on January 28, 2016.[2]
The company has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since its spin-off day.[2] Company executives, including chief executive officer and president at the time Gregory E. Poling,[1] rang the NYSE opening bell on February 4, 2016.[3]
On March 31, 2021, GCP Applied Technologies announced that it would be relocating its headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia; following the sale of its former headquarters in Boston. The move is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2021. [4]
