Defend Ukraine

Main article: Defend Ukraine

GBKSOFT programmers developed Defend Ukraine to support the country in the armed conflict that broke out nearby its eastern border. The original idea of the game is credited to Ulrich Hammerschmidt.[5]

The main task of the player is to defend Ukrainian regions from invaders by tapping on the enemies' faces which pop up randomly across the map. In case a player fails to do this on time, an enemy's flag appears over the region.

The game was released on the App Store (November 2014) and Google Play (May 2015), and is available in Ukrainian and English languages.

All money collected via the game was donated to the Wings Phoenix, a volunteer organization that financially assists the Ukrainian army.[6]
