Gram Games is a venture-backed global mobile game company with headquarters located in London, UK and an additional studio in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 2012, Gram Games has built a team of industry professionals focused on creating engaging games for mobile platforms.[1]
History
Gram Games was founded in 2012. Between 2012 and 2014, Turkish developer Gram Games was facing dark times. It had released three games in two years, all of which had failed to find an audience. Down to its last $15,000, the company decided to put its remaining money into one more game and Gram Games has gained their initial success with 1010!. Having passed 40 million installs, the game has 3.5 million daily active users, who play the game for an average of 30 minutes a day, and generate thousands of dollars a day entirely through display ads.[2] Consequently, 1010! was featured in Google I/O as a successful project.[3]
In 2016, Gram Games published Merged!, a minimalistic puzzle game that makes extensive use of ads. It has hit the 1 million downloads milestone in under a week.[4]
