Honey Health was founded by Matt Faustman and CTO Xiao Zhang in 2025. On October 27, 2025, the company announced it had raised US$7.8 million in seed funding.[1][2] The round was led by Pelion Ventures, with participation from Streamlined Ventures, Burst Capital, and 8-Bit Capital. At the time of the seed raise, Honey Health stated that it was working with independent practices, hospitals and smaller health systems.[3][4]
