NayaOne is a British financial technology company based in London that provides sandbox infrastructure for testing financial and artificial intelligence technologies. Since 2023, it has built and operated the Financial Conduct Authority's Digital Sandbox.[1]

Its infrastructure has also been used in regulatory and innovation programs involving organizations including Lloyds Banking Group, the World Economic Forum and CzechInvest.[2][3][4] NayaOne's AI Sandbox is included in the UK government's AI Assurance Techniques portfolio and the OECD.AI catalogue.[5][6] The company also provides infrastructure for the FCA's AI-focused Supercharged Sandbox, which incorporates Nvidia technology, with Anthropic supporting its second cohort.[7][8]

History

NayaOne was founded in 2019. In 2021, Karan Jain was appointed CEO, and the company adopted the name NayaOne Limited.[9][10][11]

In October 2022, Lloyds Banking Group launched an innovation sandbox supported by NayaOne.[12] In April 2023, the FCA selected NayaOne to build and operate its permanent Digital Sandbox.[13][14] The same year, Valley Bank launched a NayaOne-powered innovation platform, and Valley Ventures later took part in NayaOne's 2024 funding round.[15][16]

NayaOne's AI Sandbox is listed in the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and the OECD.AI catalogue.[17][18] In June 2025, the FCA launched the Supercharged Sandbox using NayaOne infrastructure and Nvidia technology.[19][20] The following year, the FCA extended the partnership, and Anthropic supported the second cohort.[21]

NayaOne also provided infrastructure for the World Economic Forum's UAE TradeTech Regulatory Sandbox, which involved eight companies and four UAE regulators.[22]

In 2025, CzechInvest selected NayaOne to provide the technical-testing environment for the Czech Fintech Regulatory Sandbox. Twenty-one projects entered the programme's main testing phase in February 2026.[23]

Platform

NayaOne provides digital sandbox environments for testing third-party technologies without access to production systems. These environments can include cloud resources, synthetic or anonymised data, APIs and development tools.[24][25]

Its AI Sandbox is used to evaluate AI systems, including through performance, bias, risk, transparency and compliance testing.[26] Nvidia has described its use for testing AI applications, generating synthetic data and benchmarking systems.[27]

Industry collaborations

In 2025, NayaOne contributed synthetic datasets to a FINOS initiative on AI evaluation in financial services. The datasets covered 10 product types, 21 subcategories and nearly 900 market identifiers.[28][29]

NayaOne also partnered with the FCA on Open Finance TechSprints focused on mortgages and SME finance.[30]

The City of London Corporation reported that NayaOne supported a quantum-computing hackathon with IBM focused on fraud detection, market simulation and post-trade applications.[31]

NayaOne also supported the UK Smart Data Challenge Prize, providing finalists with access to a Smart Data sandbox.[32] In 2022, NayaOne and FinTech North launched a regional programme providing financial institutions in northern England with access to a digital sandbox and technology providers.[33]

Funding

NayaOne raised US$4.7 million in February 2024. The round was led by EJF Capital and included Valley Ventures and Carthona Capital.[34]

Recognition

In 2024, NayaOne ranked 29th in Deloitte's UK Technology Fast 50, which listed the company's revenue growth at 875%.[35]
