Retyp, LLC dba OptinMonster is an online lead generation software developed in Florida, United States . It is a standalone application that integrates with web platforms, such as Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Shopify, Magento, and Bigcommerce.[1][2] The software is used by online marketers to convert website visitors into subscribers and customers.

About and history

OptinMonster was founded in 2013 by Syed Balkhi and Thomas Griffin in Florida. Syed is the current CEO[3] and Thomas is the CTO of the company. [4][5]The plugin allows user to create different types of sign up forms to place on various pages of their website. Supported sign up forms includes Lightbox Popup, Floating Footer Bar, Slick Slide-in, Inline Sidebar, Inline Post, and Exit Intent.[6] In 2019, it is claimed that over 600,000 websites are using Optinmonster[7]

SaaS

In May 2015, the OptinMonster announced its SaaS lead generation software named the OptinMonster App. Unlike the old standalone WordPress plugin, the new application works with all web platforms including Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce.[8]

Partnerships

OptinMonster has partnership with various email marketing services including Mailchimp,[9] Campaign Monitor,[10] Marketo[11] and AWeber.[12] It is also a Google Analytics Partner, and can connect directly with the Google Analytics for better reporting.[13]
