Quintype is a cloud based web content management system for modern publishers to create dynamic content websites and blogging websites. The software is proprietary licensed and the company is based in Bengaluru.

History

Back in 2014, when Raghav Bahl started his new digital media venture (Quintillion Media), he was looking for a platform that would meet all the needs of a modern publisher. During his meetings with the various tech companies in India and the US, he met Amit Rathore (co-founder, Quintype) who pitched him the idea of rethinking the CMS solution ground up and creating an integrated SaaS-based solution. That’s how Quintype was started. The idea was to develop a brand new solution for theQuint and make the technology available to all publishers across the world. Chirdeep Shetty is the Chief Executive Officer of Quintype.[1]

Quintype secured $3.25M funding from Raghav Bahl,[2][3]

In December 2015, Swarajya Magazine, an Indian magazine launched by C Rajagopalachari, announced that they will use Quintype for their online website.

Some of the organizations that uses Quintype publishing platform includes BloombergQuint [4] Swarajya Magazine, [5], National Herald, Fortune India, Vikatan, NewsLaundry and Live History India.

  • Accesstype - A subscription management platform


Awards and Recognition

In Sep 2018, Quintype along with BloombergQuint and Swarajya Magazine won a Gold and a Bronze at WAN-IFRA South Asia Digital Media Awards 2018.[7]
