SLR (short for SexLikeReal) is a virtual reality pornography sharing site and production company. As one of the largest Netflix-like platforms for VR pornography, SLR has been featured by XBIZ and other major media outlets in the pornography industry.[1] Other virtual reality pornography companies similar to SLR are BaDoinkVR and VirtualRealPorn.[2][3][4]

Overview

As the "Netflix of VR Porn",[5][6] the platform brings together over 7,000 films[7][8] from over 120 major VR pornography studios.[9][10]

The app is compatible with Google Cardboard, Windows MR, Oculus Go,[11] HTC Vive, and Gear VR,[12][13] and especially Oculus Rift and Oculus Quest.[14][1] The PS4 Pro and PlayStation Pro are capable of streaming high-quality VR videos on SLR.[15][16][17][18]

SLR is popular in many countries and regions, including not only North America and Europe, but also Japan and other Asian countries.[19]

History

SLR was founded by Alex Novak in 2015.[20] In 2018, SLR reported over half a million monthly users.[21] SexLikeReal developed native VR porn app to watch VR videos since web browsers could not playback high resolution videos, with 5K/6K 180º stereoscopic 60FPS becoming a standard.[22]

As of 2018, SLR's VR app has been downloaded by more than 600,000 users.[23][24][25] SLR Interactive, an Android app, was launched in 2019 to support interactive teledildonics synchronised with video like Fleshlight Launch, powered by Kiiroo.[26]
