About

Anurag “Archie” Agarwal is the founder, CEO, and CTA (Chief Technical Architect) of ThreatModeler.[4][5][6] The ThreatModeler Software provides a solution for threat modeling of organization’s IT infrastructure. Products

The first version of ThreatModeler was released in 2011, followed by the Enterprise version in 2013.[8] The platform also integrates into organization’s SDLC (Secure Development Life Cycle) process, whether DevOps or traditional waterfall process. The key value of ThreatModeler Software to enable non-security experts with little or no knowledge of security to build threat models. Once they build the architecture diagram by using ThreatModeler’s drag and drop feature, it carries out an analysis of the organization’s attack surface and generates a list of threats and security controls.[8]

ThreatModeler’s collaborative platform facilitates high-level analysis by CISOs[clarification needed] and other security executives of the organization’s attack surface with real-time situational visibility to anticipate and then code or architect[clarification needed] around potential vulnerabilities.[9]

In 2017 ThreatModeler Software introduced a Partner Program designed for outsourced practitioners who provide their services to clients on a pay-per-project basis.[1]
