Throne Labs is a blockchain company building digital assets for the decentralized web, also known as a Web3. The company was founded in 2021 by British award-winning music producer Nellee Hooper (known for his work with Soull II Soul, Bjork, Madonna, U2), Gee Roberson[1] the manager of Kanye West[2] (the former manager of Drake[3][4] [5] [6] [7], Nicki Minaj), Chimere Cisse a former communications executive at Burberry, Sotheby's Institute alumni Julia Pavlovska, veteran blockchain architect Anthony Karter, and blockchain venture capitalist Qinghua Li. A foundation where users own their own data, digital transactions are secure, and exchanges of information and value are decentralized.[8]

Throne Labs is the proprietor of THN the utility token for the Throne community, network, and ecosystem. In October 2021, following a heightened interest in non-fungible tokens, Forbes published 'Throne Lists THN becomes $90 million asset overnight'[9][10] [11][12]

In February 2022, the company announced that they had joined the Solana ecosystem, with the development of Throne City, a virtual world in the metaverse.
