The Akazaki Formation is a Mesozoic geologic formation in Kyushu, Japan .
Fossils
Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation, although none have yet been referred to a specific genus.[1] A tillodont specimen similar to Trogosus was described from this unit by Miyata (2007).[2]
