Blufftown Formation
Stratigraphic range: Campanian
TypeGeological formation

The Blufftown Formation is a Mesozoic geologic formation in the southern United States.[1][2][3][4] Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation, although none have yet been referred to a specific genus except "Ornithomimus" antiquus.[5] Indeterminate hadrosaur and tyrannosaur fossils have been found here.[6] Fish fossils have been found here too.[7] Ostracod fossils have also been unearthed here too.[8]
